Term 3 2026 news and updates

Dear Parents and Guardians,
We hope this letter finds you and your family well. Term 3 has been a busy and exciting term for our
learners, and we are happy to share some of the highlights with you.
Rand Water Visit
Rand Water visited our school to teach learners about water awareness. The learners learned how
precious water is and how we can all help to save it at school and at home. We encourage you to
continue these conversations with your children by fixing leaks and switching off taps.
Milo Visit: The Importance of Breakfast
We were joined by Milo, who spoke to our learners about why breakfast is the most important meal of
the day. A healthy breakfast gives children the energy and focus they need to learn, play and do their
best.
Movie Day
Our learners enjoyed a fun movie day at school with their friends. It was a lovely opportunity to relax,
laugh and make happy memories together after a term of hard work.
Chess Representation
We are very proud of our learners who represented our school in chess. They showed great focus,
patience and sportsmanship. Well done to each one of them for making our school proud!
Heritage Day Celebration
Heritage Day was a colourful celebration. Our learners and teachers came to school dressed in their
traditional attire, proudly showing the beauty and richness of our different cultures.

We the school also bided farewell to one of our colleagues Maam Snini Mkhwanazi who has served the school for 13 years this marked her last term with us. We want to wish her the best in her future endeavours and thank her for all the services and commitment she has given to the whole community of Soweto .

Our grade 7 Learners also had a chance to show case some of their skills they were taught during the term to have their own market day which was a huge success with moments that will forever be in their lives .

We want to also congratulate our School Choir who represented us at The CSO Choir festival we were made very proud from your smooth Angelic Voices.
