2025 Term 3 updates and news.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we come to the close of Term 3, we would like to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support and partnership throughout this busy and fruitful term.

This term has been filled with exciting learning experiences and memorable events that have enriched our learners both academically and socially. Highlights include the successful Reading Skemish, where our learners showcased their love for books and storytelling, fostering a strong culture of literacy in our school.

We were privileged to host a Road Crossing Workshop facilitated by our local police officers, teaching our children vital road safety skills and the importance of being responsible pedestrians.

We also welcomed the team from Sanitation Dignity, who engaged learners on proper toilet hygiene and the importance of maintaining clean and healthy habits  a valuable lesson for life.

One of our proudest moments this term was the Soweto Spelling Competition, where our school shone brightly. We extend special congratulations to our SeSotho learners, who were crowned the winners  a fantastic achievement that celebrates both academic excellence and the richness of our home languages.

Term 3 also brought us Entrepreneurs Day, where our learners displayed creativity, innovation, and business acumen. It was inspiring to see their confidence and teamwork as they stepped into the shoes of young entrepreneurs.

Finally, we wrapped up the term in style with our vibrant Heritage Day celebration, capped by the crowning of Mr and Mrs St Peter. What a joyful occasion to honour our diverse cultures and traditions while celebrating the beauty of unity in diversity.

As we head into the break, we encourage you to continue supporting your children’s learning through reading, play, and rest. We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for the final term of the year.
