Reading in the foundation phase (Grades R-3) is crucial for cognitive, social and emotional development. It not only helps children develop essential literacy skills, but also broadens their vocabulary, improves concentration and sparks imagination. By instilling a love for reading in these early years, we empower our children to become confident, curious and creative learners, setting them up for success in school and beyond. A big thank you to the teachers who were part of this program, and also a thank you to our Principal who also graced this event.
